Greetings!

My name is Larry Dennis. I have been directing theater in the Boise Valley for about two decades, starting with Kurt Vonnegut's "Happy Birthday, Wanda June" for the 1989-1990 season at Stage Coach Theatre.

During those years I have served on the Boards of Directors of Stage Coach Theatre, Boise Little Theater, the Idaho Shakespeare Festival Guild and Alley Repertory Theater.

My philosophy, and challenge, as a director of live theater is to create an environment with each production that allows and encourages every designer and actor to open up and share their own creativity. It's the blend of energies, visions and passions that make each production unique and special, not just for those of us creating but for the audiences watching the fruits of our work.

I have directed about 40 plays and have worked tech on countless more. I have made more friends in the theater that I ever thought one person could have. I feel blessed for each and every one of them. This site is for the friends who've worked with me on shows. It's a coalescing into one place of reviews and pictures from shows. It's a place for audition and upcoming show information, for anyone who would like to work with me again, or for the first time. It's a celebration for the people who come together for a few months every year to make the world a more entertained and better place.
