CONTRIBUTOR BIOS
 

Charles Saplak  was a contributor to the old paper EOTU about ten years ago "during the time when I was trying to 'break-in.'  Now look at us!"  Charles has had a good run since then, over 100 story sales and about 50 poetry sales. We here at EOTU have had about, well, uh, six.

Maria Cecile lives in Oregon with her husband, dog,
and four cats. She has been scribbling away on various projects since she was very  small. In another incarnation she is an editor for Green Man Review

Randy Chandler was a contributor to the paper EOTU, his story "3-D" appeared in the Feb. '88 issue and was republished in ALPHA GALLERY. His novel "DUET FOR THE DEVIL" (co-authored with t. Winter-Damon) was nominated for the 2000 Stoker Award for Best First Novel.

Elizabeth Penrose is a member of the Pittsburgh Worldwrights writing group.  She works at a child care center in Pittsburgh.  Her poem "A Girl's Game" has been published in Star*Line.

Satch has had work appear in Able Muse, Flashquake, and The Pedestal Magazine.

Peggy Jo Shumate says she loves slurping grape Tootsie Pops, writing/reading, and cinnamon vanilla latte's with coolwhip and chocolate sprinkles. Peggy Jo is the Double Dragon Publishing Co. Promotions Manager and Reviewer and is a 2000 Graduate from the Institute of Children's Literature

 Lizzy Marie Shumate is Peggy Jo's 13 year old daughter, who has already started a promising career in illustration, having just been hired as illustrator for SDO Detective Ezine .

John DeVera, who lives in the 'burbs of Bakersfield', California, earns his daily bread  teaching teenagers how to read and write.  While he dreams of becoming a millionaire some day, his chosen profession and innate ability to choose the wrong lottery numbers have so far worked against him.  He consoles himself with the love of a beautiful wife and two alarmingly charming children. Most Important Publishing Credits include "Well Enough," Marion Zimmer-Bradley's Fantasy Magazine, December, 2000, "Intransitive Troll," Futures, September, 2001 and "Passing Wind," Anotherealm, Fall 2002.

Benjamin Durand is an artist from Minnesota who says his goal in life is to get a truck that doesn't quit on him and to buy a couch. His website is at Bendwaverly.

Lynne Jamneck   Credits include short fiction in Best Lesbian Erotica 2003, On Our Backs Magazine, fiction at Bloodlust - UK, Future Shocks, Clean Sheets. The May 2003 issue of City Slab Magazine features a short story and interview with author Ramsey Campbell.  Upcoming work will appear in the anthologies 'Delicate Friction' , 'Raging Horrormones' and 'Darkways Of The Wizard'. Artemis Press recently published her first mystery 'Down The Rabbit Hole - A Samantha Skellar Mystery'.  Photography has appeared in SHOTS, DIVA Magazine (June 2003) and The Sun. Upcoming work will feature in the June 2003 issue of Curve Magazine. Art credits include work at The Dream People, The Dream Zone, EOTU Ezine and work currently on display at Epilogue and Art Wanted.com.

Bruce Boston  is the author of 30 books and chapbooks, including the novel "Stained Glass Rain" and "best of" fiction collection "Masque of Dreams " (Wildside, 2001). His stories and poems have appeared in hundreds of publications, including Asimov's SF, Amazing Stories, Realms of Fantasy, Weird Tales, The Twilight Zone, Year's Best Fantasy & Horror, and five Nebula Awards anthologies. His fiction has received a Pushcart Prize and won the Best of Soft Sf Award. His poetry has received many awards, including the  Asimov  Readers Award, the Aboriginal SF Boomerang Award, and a record seven Rhysling Awards. In 1999 the Science Fiction Poetry Association honored him with the only Grand Master Award in its 22-year history. Some of his fiction is available at Fictionwise. His webpage is at Bruce Boston.

Glenn Kirker say's, "I'm a New Zealander living in BC, Canada.  Have got a couple of unpublished novels, work in a bookstore and spend the rest of my time loving my wife, Di, and my bullmastiff, Kiwi.  Am really enjoying writing short stories as an exercise in focusing a theme."

As a child, Terrie Leigh Relf had recurring dreams about living inside the belly of a dragon.  As a result, she has been fascinated by them throughout her life; they often figure prominently in her SF/S fiction. An award-winning and internationally published poet, Relf's work has appeared in Sol-Magazine, The Martian Wave, Fifth Dimension, Aofie's Kiss, Nightingale, Manifold, City Works, and Asunder Press.   Her chapbook, Lap Danced by the Muse, was released in the fall of 2002.  She is also the poetry editor for WritersMonthly.US

L.A. Story Houry is a resident of Glen, Mississippi, and a published author of fiction, poetry and non-fiction features. She is currently the author of a weekly column (humorist), called "The Story Hour," published on Wednesdays in the Daily Corinthian (Corinth, Mississippi). In fiction and poetry, Houry's work has appeared in Aoife's Kiss (both print and online versions), Between Kisses Newsletter, Expressions Newsletter, Aphelion, and Twilight Times. She has work scheduled to appear in the March edition of The Fifth Di... . She is the co-editor of two upcoming poetry books, Unspeakable Scifaiku and Unspeakable Limericks (Sam's Dot Publishing). 

Gerald Bosacker is a prolific poet and short story editor who is totally undiscovered by the paying public, but lavishly displayed, pro bono. He exists by charging a "tasting fee" for groceries submitted to his home, by Supermarkets seeking  recognition. 

Lida Broadhurst  "My prose and poetry arise from looking at suburban life, cats, and family through a twisted mirror. These visions have appeared in "This Way Up", "Martian Wave",  "Nemonymous #1", "Mythic Delirium", "Star*Line", and many other publications. I was the assistant editor of the literary gothic web site "Skin and Bones",sadly, now closed."

Ken Basarke belongs to SF Canada, and has several novels under consideration.
